How to Enable or Disable Auto Tracking on the Parrot VC0005 Camera

Overview #

The Parrot Auto Tracking Camera (Model VC0005) includes a remote control that allows users to toggle auto tracking on or off using a simple button sequence. This guide explains how to perform this action using the camera’s remote control buttons.

Controls Used #

  • * (Star) Button
  • # (Hash) Button
  • Bluetooth Button

Turning Auto Tracking ON #

To activate auto tracking:

  1. Press the * button and release it.
  2. Immediately press the Bluetooth button.

The camera will begin tracking subjects automatically.

Turning Auto Tracking OFF #

To deactivate auto tracking:

  1. Press the # button and release it.
  2. Immediately press the Bluetooth button.

The camera will stop tracking and remain in a fixed position.

Notes #

  • Make sure the camera is powered on before performing these steps.
  • The Bluetooth button acts as a confirmation trigger after pressing either the * or # button.
  • The camera will have a purple flashing confirmation light when tracking is toggled.
