In the event of a meeting or training session the VC0004 camera can jump between people speaking to rapidly. This is due to the settings you have chosen or out of the box that it uses to detect who is talking. The person speaking must continuously speak for a period of 3 or 5 seconds for the camera to follow that person.
To Change the above mentioned sensitivity settings, please see the below:
- Ensure that the camera is powered and on.
- On the remote control press “*” key + 3
- This will set the sensitivity to 3 seconds meaning the person that needs to be tracked needs to talk for 3 seconds or more before it will start tracking.
- On the remote control press “*” key + 5
- This will set the sensitivity to 5 seconds meaning the person that needs to be tracked needs to talk for 5 seconds or more before it will start tracking.
It is as easy as that.
